Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters
What is it?

The West Geauga Program is one of thousands throughout the country helping youth by providing one-on-one mentoring for children. High School students can sign up to volunteer outside Mr. Witherites room or from the Big Brother Big Sister web site linked at the bottom of the page. Take some time to make an impact on someone's life and be a difference maker.

Volunteering is Big Time Fun.

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do. Not to mention, one of the most fulfilling. You have the opportunity to help shape a child’s future for the better by empowering them to achieve. And the best part is, it’s actually a lot of fun. You and your Little can share the kinds of activities you already like to do.

Play sports together. Go on a hike. Read books. Eat a pizza with extra cheese. Or just give some advice and inspiration. Whatever it is you enjoy, odds are you’ll enjoy them even more with your Little—and you’ll be making a life-changing impact.
Big Brother Big Sister will have member orientation on September 26th and the program begins on Tuesday, October 2nd at Westwood and Wednesday, October 3rd at Lindsay
Interviews will be held on the 17th and 18th of September in the Library and applications can be found in Guidance and outside Mr. Witherite's room!
