The WG Academic Challenge team will be holding an audition after-school on Friday in room 127. It will last from 3pm - 4:45pm.We will be auditioning for 3 members to be chosen to compete on WEWS's Academic Challenge show. If you are interested in trying out (and good at trivia) please see Mr. Teare.

Attention students interested in participating in the STEM Science Fair.  The registration deadline is quickly approaching.  Please complete both the science Fair registration form, and online registration no later than December 8th.  Both the form and the link can be found in the Science Fair Student Handbook.  If you have any questions please ask your science teacher and/or Mr. Duncan.

Suburban Driving School will be instructing after school Driver Education Classes in Room number #105 starting Monday December 11th. through Wednesday December 20th.. Class time will be 2:45 p.m. to 5:55. p.m.. For further information contact Suburban Driving School at (440) 729-4360,  search the web site at suburbandrivingschool.com.  

Mid-term exam Leave early permission forms are now available in the attendance office.  Forms must be filled out and turned in to the attendance office no later than Friday December 15th.

Attention High School Students:

Join Huntington Learning Center and the West Geauga Educational Foundation for a SAT and ACT practice test.  Experience real test questions and learn valuable strategies from Huntington's experienced test prep tutors.

SAT Practice Test will be on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 8am in room 124 at WGHS.

ACT Practice Test will be on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 8am in room 124 at WGHS.

The Cost is $10 and registration and payment can be made with Mrs. Sargent in the High School Guidance office. Make checks payable to West Geauga Educational Foundation or cash payment accepted. For questions please contact Theresa Kulp at kickstart.wgef@gmail.com

WGEF arranges for ACT & SAT practice testing conducted throughout each school year in conjunction with Huntington Learning Center. Each practice test is administered using actual ACT & SAT tests and with the same time constraints.  Results show our students where they might score on the actual test.  If a higher score is desired, students can continue their test prep receiving one-on-one guidance through Huntington Learning Centers at a discounted rate.
