“Safely transporting students to and from school is vital to education,” said Susan Tave Zelman, Ohio Department of Education superintendent of public instruction. “The professionalism of Ohio’s school bus drivers is why the school bus remains — by far — the safest way for students to get to school.”
The 20,000 school bus drivers in Ohio transport more than 1.2 million students over 170 million miles each year.
West Geauga Tansportation Supervisor Al Davis is proud of our drivers, bus aides and mechanics.
Individual bus route information will be sent to elementary school parents. Bus routes for students in grades 1-12 will also be listed in the Chesterland News local newspaper the Wednesday before the school year begins.
