Seniors and their Shows
by Elissa Waldmuller, Lifestyles Editor
West Geauga's fourth annual Senior Show achieved what it set out to do: raise money for after prom. This year's show also made more than previous shows before it. The show was performed on April 21, 2004.
The seniors who performed in the show were Kelton Wright, Joey Konieczny, Nic Vodika, Luke Wenger, Kelly McCormick, Kristen Heines, Kim Alley, Natalie Reder, Kristen Mintus, Joe Kendall, Geoff Protz, Abby Ruh, Dave Marinelli, Megan Moriarty, Mandy Okrez, Jess Johnson, Nikki Kramer, Jess Swann, Rachel Harmon, Joel Bihary, Anne Owens, Nick Bayzath and Molly Paschke. The senior show probably wouldn't have happened if Mrs. Goehrke hadn't been there to take care of it all. Mrs. Goehrke has been in charge of production since the first show four years ago.
The performances ranged from karaoke-style singing to Christian contemporary rock to break dancing. The highlight of the show was probably the Human Video (performed by the local Church Word of Grace's youth group), which proved to be very artistic and well choreographed, yet at the same time seemed a little too religious for a public school.
The show can be summed up as a student here once said, "It wasn't that good, but it was cute and a lot of fun."
