West G. Lacrosse
Sticking it Out

by Jon Hanover, Editorial Editor

Despite thier perennial victory deficiency, West Geauga's lacrosse team is having an excellent season. When asked about what makes lacrosse so great, senior Joe Lubelski said with a smile, "It's the care-free attitude. The team lacks some depth, but we're improving."

Despite the team's rocky start and history of winlessness, the squad hopes to seize the Division IV state championship. Lacrosse divisions are divided by skill levels, rather than size, and West Geauga has been placed in the lowest division. Commented senior Adam Schultz, "Frankly, we were all surprised they even allowed us to play."

The team, now in its 3rd year of existence as a club sport, is lead by captains Joe Lubelslki, Adam Schultz, Race Morton, and Cody Salrin.
Come support the team as they pursue the state title.
