Wrestling team wrestles with Injuries

I know how Colonel Potter felt running his MASH unit, said coach
Mr. Joe Marino, frustrated by the number of injuries plaguing his team this
year. Five returning starters have barely, if at all, touched the mat, including
Pat Davis (275 pounds), Nic Bronkall (215), Paul Jesenovec (171), Bill Sonnie
(160) and Brian Delpra (125). Another returning starter (at 189 pounds) decided
not to join the team this year, as well.
All the injuries (save Delpras) occured in a fall sport. This is not the way I envisioned starting the season, with six starters out, said Marino, but injuries and people quitting are a part of sports: nothing you can do about it.
On the upside, the Wolves have four returning sectional champs: Geoff Protz, Pat Davis, and Jacob and Jarius Murton. Jacob placed fifth in state last year and is currently ranked 13th in the nation at 119 lbs.
Im looking forward to the Ironman most of all, said Jacob. The Ironman is a clash of 32 of the best teams from all over the country and is ranked as the 2nd toughest high school tournament in the USA. But the state title is also in Jacobs view. I can win it, but its going to take a lot more work than last year.
