Shoot For Three
by Timothy Chester Pazyniak, Staff Writer

The junior varsity boys basketball team wrapped up its season with a tough loss to a very loaded Richmond Heights. Due to the teams outstanding 3-point shooting and solid inside presence, they finished with a 6-14 record, which included some very tough losses. Even with the losing record, Coach Cardiero thinks the team had a successful season.
The team played what their coach called, “…our best game of the season,” versus Perry. The team dominated from start to finish with a 78-57 win. This game just showed the vast improvements they made throughout the year. Due to these improvements, Coach Cardiero feels that if the kids keep working in the summer, many of them can contribute on the varsity next year.
Sophomore guard John Difranco said, “The team really bonded throughout the year to improve and hopefully we all can contribute on varsity next year.”
