Students For Change

With the upcoming 2008 election breathing down their necks, WGHS’s club, Students For Change, is finding itself rather busy. “It’s a very exciting year, and everyone is very active in supporting their chosen candidates,” said senior Kate Snyder. Not only are they actively involved in the upcoming presidential election, they will also be holding their own elections to select officers for next year. This club is also still welcoming new members, despite the fact that it is the 4th quarter. Kate commented, “We always welcome new members interested in politics and making a difference in the world.”
SFC isn’t solely political, though. They are currently finalizing plans for their spring clothing drive as well. During this drive, students will be asked to bring their old clothing in garbage bags, labeled with their names, to the main lobby. The top two donors will receive $35 and $15, so get involved in the drive!
