This month Interact has been very busy. On October 20th, they went on their annual canoe trip to Camp-Hi. There was a group of about 35 students who participated and enjoyed this wonderful event. Waking up early on a Saturday, these dedicated Interact members gathered together at the high school. They ate donuts, hopped on the bus, and were off.
Many of the students had a bit of difficulty taking control of their canoes and found their clothes soaked with the Cuyahoga River. Lori Sobolewski said, “I had a blast, even though we did tip our canoe. It was cold, but I still really enjoyed a great time!” After canoeing, the group gathered around a warm fire to fill their stomachs with hot-dogs, cookies, and chips. Once again, this even was a wonderful time for the members of Interact!
