Ms. Susong's 2nd period foods class was assigned a choice lab. The students prepared many different dishes throughout the class period. The most famous dish was a pumpkin roll. This was a two-day lab and students immensely enjoyed the taste. The class is not only about the joy of cooking but also about cleaning up and learning how to use the different cooking utensils. Students make sure that they have the exact measurement of all the ingredients before beginning. Lab plans and market orders are created to help the process move more smoothly. The Foods and Nutrition class is by far one of the top favorite classes students at West G take. That is probably because everyone loves to eat!
