The Wolverines took the field Saturday morning to take on the Willoughby South Rebels. Just after kick-off, the weather took a turn for the worse. Rain started to pour down and turn the field into a slippery, muddy surface. The game was rather uneventful through three quarters. At the start of the fourth, the score was 0-0. In the middle of the fourth, momentum was gained by the Wolverines thanks to a punt return by Bryan Polan that took them inside the Rebels' 5 yard line. Connor Krouse then took control and scampered in the end zone for the score. Later in the game Nick Rakich took an interception to the house. When there was no time left on the clock, the Wolverines prevailed 12-0. They improved their JV record to 3-0.
