The West Geauga Girls Varsity Volleyball team took on Lake Catholic on Tuesday October 25th. These were the semifinals for their division this season. Lake Catholic took the title for state champs last season.  The Lady Wolves took the title for sectional champs this year. The team is unfortunately losing five seniors this year, who were hard working girls.  They never let their team down and fought for every point. The Varsity Volleyball girls played with so much team work and were bonded as a family, which showed throughout their season. Their season ended with a record of 10-12. Emma Cipraini had the most kills for each game. (Kill: successful, legal, point-scoring spike attack). She played the position of an outside hitter. Annie Dolphin had the most digs (Dig: A defensive contact following an opponent's attack resulting in a playable ball) for the season. She played the position of a libero. Haley Blazek had the most assists for the season. This concluded the season for the Varsity Volleyball Team.
