The West Geauga Board of Education met on March 13, 2013 to conduct the monthly meeting. During the meeting the board discussed many different topics. Of these topics, there were certain ones of major concern , not only to the school district, but also the community. The topics of the meeting were mainly based off of the West Geauga Local Schools system's budget. Due to a lack of incoming students, the Board has decided to let go of 1.5 teachers from the elementary school, 1.5 teachers from the secondary schools, and 1 special education teacher. Another major topic was the discussion of conserving energy to save money. One of the high school teachers, Mr. Rogge, gave a presentation that detailed the amount of money and resources saved by the current actions in place. Below are pictures of the Board members and teachers who attended the meeting on March 13, 2013.
