On Thursday, September 6, the girls varsity tennis
team played Kenston High School here at West Geauga. The singles players Sydney
Hanford (freshman), Drew Heatwole (freshman), and Emily Joseph (senior)
we up first and dominated the courts. Next up were the doubles
teams and they were ready to beat the bombers. Isabel Pountney (senior) and
Alex Brooks (senior) played a great match. Also, Susie Joseph (junior), and
her partner Shelby Deacon (freshman) were on top of their game. All together
the team did great and took home the win for West G.
