The Lady Wolverines Varsity Basketball team took on the Riverside Beavers on Monday February 10th, 2014. It was senior night, and the girls recognized senior Meghan Dayringer for her success on the team as center. The game was then followed by a pizza reception to thank Meghan and her parents for their contribution to West Geauga over the past four years. We wish Meghan the best of luck in college!! Congrats on a great season! The game got off to a rough start with the Lady Wolverines down 9-0 with seven minutes left in the first quarter, but once West G got their first two points on the board the game was back to back to shots with the Lady Wolverines going into the locker room, at half time only down by 3. (24-21) The girls played tough through the third and fourth quarters, but in the fourth, the game started to slip away. The girls lost to the Beavers 54-44. Good Luck in the rest of your season!!
