The West Geauga Junior Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team took on the Poland Seminary Bulldogs on Friday April 17, 2015. The Wolverines were looking to keep their undefeated streak alive and defeat the Bulldogs. The boys got off to a great start, coming out onto the field strong and ready to play. Within the opening minutes West Geauga had scored their first goal. Once the Wolverines obtained the lead, from the very start of the game, they never gave it up. After West Geauga scored the first goal, Poland Seminary drove down field and missed a block shot which resulted in another West G goal. Within the first 10 minutes West Geauga was up 2-0. The boys played strong and consistent all throughout the first half of the game, and lead 5-2 at the half. Great effort was shown by seniors Tyler Hackleman, Jake Curtis, and Sophomore Jack Makee. The Wolverines ended up defeating the Bulldogs in what turned out to be a great game. West Geauga JV is still undefeated, as they hope to continue this streak as they take on the rest of their season! Best of luck to all the boys! GO WEST!
