School's out for the summer

The last day of classes at West Geauga Local Schools for the 2009-2010 school year is June 9. Have a wonderful summer vacation! The first day of the 2010-2011 school year begins on Aug. 25.

Bus route schedule to be published August 18

Open enrollment policy
The Board has a resolution on file to extend open enrollment to siblings of students currently enrolled in open enrollment, maintain exisiting open enrollment rules for current open enrollment students and put a moratorium on enrolling new applicants for the 2010-2011 school year.

West Geauga hires transportation supervisor
Nancy Gordon is replacing Allan Davis as West Geauga Local Schools’ transportation supervisor effective July 1, 2010.

Tdap vaccine required for seventh graders
Important notice to parents of students who will be entering seventh grade in the fall of 2010: All seventh grade students must have the Tdap vaccine administered prior to entrance to school beginning in the fall of 2010.
