On April 24th, the West Geauga Schools hosted the 29th Annual Senior Citizens Recognition Dinner. The evening is an event dedicated to thanking the senior citizens in our community for their support and dedication to the district.

“It is a pleasure to see so many community members come out for the Senior Citizens Recognition Dinner,” said Dr. Richard Markwardt, Superintendent. “We think it is important to acknowledge the support they give our students and our district.”

The event featured food from local favorite, Guido’s; music from the West Geauga Steel Drum Band and entertainment by magician, Rick Smith, Jr., who has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” “Ellen,” and “America’s Got Talent.”
