WGMS Students Experience STEM
STEM students

Seventh grade students at West Geauga Middle School spent time learning how to use STEM problem solving models to complete a project.

For the project, the students were asked to design and create machine to launch a projectile following a specific set of criteria.  Students then demonstrated to the class and measured the results.

This project is part of the ongoing STEM curriculum in the district, implemented to prepare middle school students for the rigors of high school science and math.
