Understanding Your Child's Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plan (RIMP)

By law, all children who are not reading at grade level are required to have a "Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plan" (RIMP). A RIMP is a flexible description of why your child is reading below level and how the school and parents can work together toward "on track" reading performance. Please review the sample below and explore the links to the right. Please contact your child's teacher if you have additional questions.
