Westwood Students Win in Geauga Parks Writing Contest
Four Westwood students were among the winners in the Geauga Park District’s Nature Writing Contest. They included winners in both the poetry and prose categories.
Third grader, Caleb Wright, won first place in the Child Poetry division with “To Be a Flower.” Fourth grader, Caroline Yeager, received third place with her prose piece, “The Inspiring Wonders of Nature. Fourth grader Haleigha Sheline, and first grader, Rebecca Wright, received honorable mentions for their prose works, “Nature’s Beauty and, “Four Brave Friends,” respectively.
