West Geauga Master Planning

Dear West Geauga Residents:

West Geauga is embarking on a Master Planning project to examine the educational and facility-related needs of our school district. As academic programming, security needs, technology, co-curricular and extracurricular offerings evolve; we are studying our buildings and grounds to plan for future needs. Such projects take time. Renovation and/or construction of facilities are major undertakings. We need to start to explore options now so that we are prepared as needs arise. We owe that to our students and to our community.

The West Geauga Board of Education has hired an architectural firm, BSHM Architects, Inc., to facilitate the Master Planning process. If all goes as expected, the planning should be completed and a presentation made to the Board in December 2018. Much will need to happen between now and then.

"Complete and Total" comes to West Geauga High School

The play Complete and Total is an original play by a local playwright, Greg Vovos, about the dangers of heroin and drug addiction. It is the story of a high school senior and how his painful slide into addiction impacts him and his family. It follows the student with a bright future ahead of him, but heroin and addiction quickly become his priority. The senior addict believes in his ability to become clean, but it’s not that simple.
