Westwood Elementary School -

Elementary students participate in a monthly math enrichment activity in their classrooms to solve a new, challenging program. For the month of November, there were 39 kindergartners, 61 first graders, and 75 second graders who successfully completed the challenge. Two students from each grade level were then selected to receive a price. Our kindergarten winners were: Frankie Fruhauf and Harper Klingemier. First-grade prize winners were Thomas Mooney and Estelle Ribic, and second-grade winners were Michael Dzurilla and Josephine Grady. The December math challenge is underway.
