When the West Geauga Musical Theatre cast took the stage this spring to perform You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, audiences knew they were witnessing something truly special. Their outstanding production went on to earn three Dazzle Award nominations. Modeled after the Tony Awards ®, the Dazzle Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theatre across Northeast Ohio.
As one of 23 schools nominated in its budget tier, West Geauga students had the exciting opportunity to perform on stage at Playhouse Square during the Dazzle Awards ceremony. The unforgettable evening concluded with West Geauga High School earning the prestigious Best Musical (Tier 1) award, along with a $1,000 prize to support a future musical production.
