WGMS students will have the opportunity to wear costumes to school on Halloween, Monday, October 31, 2022. Here are some general guidelines but please ensure good judgement is used by your child:
No weapons of any kind are permitted
Staff must be able to easily identify a student - no masks may be worn
Shoes must be worn and costumes must allow students to sit in class.
Costumes may not include blood, mutilated or severed body parts.
Dress code rules pertaining to appropriate bodily coverage still apply.
Costumes must not discriminate against race, religion, or ethnicity. Drug culture related costumes are not permitted.
If any teacher finds the costume unacceptable, the student is to change clothes immediately.
PTO Treat: Students will have the opportunity to purchase a snack from the PTO during 7th and 8th period on Monday, October 31st. More information will be forthcoming.
