The track replacement project in the stadium is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 18, 2026. Howell Field will be closed to all visitors from May 18 through August 15. Following installation, the track requires a curing period; although the site may not always appear to be under active construction, the stadium must remain completely off-limits during this time.
