In the annual Chicken Flying Contest at the Geauga County Fair, Superintendent Dr. Nancy Benincasa flew Oakley the hen farther than our rival chicken-flying competitor from Kenston!
Our fourth-grade students attending the Geauga Know & Grow field trip at the fairgrounds were on hand to cheer Oakley on to victory. Congratulations to Dr. Benincasa on her first win in the contest—and for keeping this fun tradition alive for our students!
